The wood for these tops was a unique find. A grower had removed an old walnut orchard and had the burls sold. The burl buyer could not come up with the funds after the grower had done a lot of work to recover them. We were contacted and worked with the grower to make both slabs and instrument stock available. This is some of the best Walnut burl we have worked with.

Claro Walnut is a great wood for electric guitar top. This piece showcases excellent figure, color, and burl.

There are two book matched pieces 0.25 x 7 1/2 x 22".

Photos are taken two ways. The first to show what the finished instrument will look like and then dry to show what the wood will look like when it arrives.

Free shipping to lower 48 US states.

If you do not find exactly what you are looking for please contact us at kevin@woodfromthewest.com or 559.349.5917.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0986/2781/3686/files/claro-walnut-solid-body-guitar-drop-top-ka06_1.gif?v=1792677135
